Urban Performance

To analyze possible future scenarios, we created Urban Performance. A tool that, through the analysis of geospatial data, forecasts the city’s future performance and helps us in choosing the best path forward.

Simulate the application of urban policies

Urban Performance can be used to simulate the application of more than 12 types of urban policies, including densification (infill) or urban expansion (landfill), new or improved transportation systems, reforestation, risk mitigation, energy & water efficiency measures and construction of new urban services such as schools, hospitals and parks, between others.

Assess the potential impact of policies

To identify which policies will help urban areas in reaching their goals, Urban Performance estimates more than 22 indicators, including: water, energy and land consumption, infrastructure and municipal services costs, intersection and population density, greenhouse gases emissions, green areas per capita, proximity to job opportunities and urban amenities, between others.

Organize results in a set of scenarios

Create custom scenarios and visualize possible outcomes in spatial and tabular formats. Perform data-driven analytics and simplify complex planning and urban management processes following four simple steps: 1) Choose a city, 2) select or configure your own scenario, 3) activate or deactivate policy levers and 4) visualize the results in a range of indicators.
